Welcome to Sector 66 ("we", "us", "our", the "Game"). We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how we handle your data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use and protect it when you play Sector 66 on your mobile device.

Sector 66 is developed and published by Communitas Labs Inc, a company incorporated in Delaware, United States.

By downloading or playing Sector 66, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

When you start a game session, we automatically collect certain device information to identify your session and maintain your game state:

Device model and manufacturer – to ensure compatibility and fix device-specific bugs.
Operating system name and version – to deliver appropriate builds and patches.

App version – to provide version-appropriate support.

This information is stored on our servers and linked to your device's identifier for as long as you play the game.

2.2 High Score Data

Sector 66 features a global leaderboard. When you achieve a score, we store:

Your score and the game mode or level it was achieved in.
Your chosen display name or username (if provided).
A timestamp of the score submission.
Your device identifier (to prevent duplicate or fraudulent entries).

This data is stored in our database and may be visible to other players on the global leaderboard.

2.3 Gameplay and Usage Data

We collect anonymized gameplay analytics to understand how the game is played and improve the experience:

Session duration and frequency.
Level progression and completion rates.
In-game events (e.g., game starts, restarts, game-over events).
Crash reports and performance metrics.

This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.

2.4 Account Information (Optional)

Sector 66 can be played without creating an account. If you choose to register or sign in with a third-party provider (e.g., Apple, Google), we additionally collect:

Display name or username.
Email address (for account management and support only).

2.5 Purchase Information

If you make in-app purchases, all transactions are processed by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. We receive only a confirmation of the purchase. We never receive or store your payment card or billing details.

2.6 Information We Do NOT Collect

Camera, microphone, or gallery data of any kind.
Precise or coarse GPS location data.
Contacts, messages, or call history.
Biometric data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Operate and maintain the game and global leaderboard.
Associate your high scores with your device across sessions.
Detect and prevent cheating or score manipulation on the leaderboard.
Improve game performance, stability, and features based on analytics.
Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
Send push notifications for leaderboard updates or game events (only with your permission; opt out any time in device settings).

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Global Leaderboard and Public Data

Your high scores and display name submitted to the global leaderboard are visible to all players. If you do not wish your scores to appear publicly, do not submit scores to the leaderboard or use a non-identifying display name. You may request removal of your leaderboard entries by contacting us (see Section 10).

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We may share limited data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the game:

Device information and high scores are retained for as long as you play the game or until you request deletion.
Anonymized analytics may be retained for longer periods for aggregate analysis.

11. Push Notifications

Sector 66 may request permission to send push notifications for leaderboard events, updates, and reminders. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your device's system settings. Disabling notifications does not affect your ability to play the game.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of the game after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
